Horror Experiment
A downloadable game for Windows
This short horror game was created as part of my final year University project. It's aim is to investigate how player agency influences their experience with a horror game.
This game was made in the Unreal engine in a few weeks. The download includes all the relevant game files, participant information sheet, consent form, and an instructive ReadMe txt file.
Please note that before you answer the questionnaire associated with this experiment that you follow the instructions regarding the consent forms.
If you are downloading this game after May 2022, the experiment will have concluded and you do not have to sign the consent form or fill out the questionnaire.

Simply download and extract. Within the game files you will find a ReadMe txt file that will walk you through the steps needed to participate in this experiment.

Wasn't part of the official experiment but I enjoyed the game. It was a bit unpredictable. My favorite part was the gun, thanks for unlimited ammo. I think I downed the entity one time too. Great game, thanks for creating :)
